Not much here...well, that's not really true, actually my season starts tomorrow!! YEAH! I can't wait! Gettin my game on, seeing my team mates, see who the new team mates are gonna be... it's just exciting, ya know?

The Comeback!

What's happenin my peoples?!
Whoa... 4 months... it's been 4 months since I last wrote in this blog... that's crazy.
Oh well, better late than never, right? =)
Aight, let me see what's new with me... not that much actually, I guess I'm a new J.C., but only inside. Anyways, my grandma had to move to a retirement home because she had some health problems and since we live on the 5th floor and the lift isn't working, my mom and my uncle thought it'd be better for her that way. Usually I wouldn't agree, but my uncle knows lots of people who work at that place, so she'll be well taken care of. She can walk in the park, receive medical treatment if needed... it was the best for her overall =)
So now in my place is just me and my mom. It feels different, but I like it...more freedom for me, more time to rest for my mom, less worries for both...
I'm workin for a mobile network company here in Portugal for now, but I'm about to leave. It was just so I could get some money for the summer and to help out my mom. My season will start soon and I can't wait! I'm so wanting to get back to the game! Today I went to play with some friends and it felt so good! of course it felt bad afterwards cuz I was all sore, but it was damn worth it! I hadn't played in ages! It always makes me realize how much I love to play basketball and how much it means to me... Almost as important as friends and family...
I'm gonna try to find a job in a gym during the season. Shouldn't be too hard...lots of gyms are open. Just didn't wanna go in the summer cuz people go into gyms at that time to ask for miracles, like gettin buff in one week or lose 20 pounds in 5 days. Miracles happen, but I can't make them happen...
I'm also thinkin about gettin another degree as a physiotherapist... it's something I always thought it was pretty cool and I've been thinkin about it more and more lately. It'd definitely help me with basketball and it'd be another way to keep myself busy. I'm kinda lazy, but I can't stay doing nothing for too long.
I'm still single and enjoying it. Summer does good to girls and that does good to my eyes =p at least I can look wherever I want, go wherever I want to and do whatever. It's pretty tight, but I admit sometimes I miss a relationship... I'm a relationship kind of guy, so no one night stands, no friendships with benefits, none of that... and it's been like that for a while. I may be going crazy, but then again, I was never really well in my head =p
Well, I guess that pretty much sums up my life the past 4 months... have some friends going to the US soon, so I wish the best of luck to them! I wish I could go back too! Maybe...one day...who knows... =)
